Copy-ready boilerplate
Chiral Audio™ is an independent audio plugin studio building mechanism-first tools for sound design and music production. Its catalog turns physical systems into playable effects: Kuramoto synchronization in Foxfire, logistic growth in Autocatalysis, Korteweg-de Vries wave behavior in Soliton, the Boltzmann distribution in Boltzmann, Anderson localization in Anderson Freeze, Schwarzschild time dilation in Geodesic, the Arrhenius rate law in Arrhenius, and the glass transition in Anneal.
Company description
Chiral Audio is an independent audio plugin studio. The digital signal processing (DSP) is governed by equations that describe real physical mechanisms, not metaphors or vague language. The catalog targets sound designers, electronic musicians, producers, and DSP-curious buyers who want controls that map to physics rather than to vague sonic adjectives.
Founded by Blake Corman in early 2026. Operates independently from Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Products
- Foxfire: Foxfire runs the Kuramoto model for coupled oscillators as a chorus-ensemble. Sixteen voices drift, partially sync, flicker at the critical point, and lock. $25 launch (list $40).
- Autocatalysis: Autocatalysis is a resonance effect governed by population dynamics. Sixteen tuned resonators bloom through an S-curve, the same shape that describes bacterial growth and autocatalytic chemistry. $20 launch (list $30).
- Soliton: Soliton is a feedback delay where dispersion and saturation balance so each repeat reshapes itself and the line sustains without decay. $20 launch (list $40).
- Boltzmann: Boltzmann is a MIDI sequencer and arpeggiator that draws each note from an energy landscape governed by the Boltzmann distribution. One Temperature control runs the whole field, from frozen on the root to evenly random. $15 launch (list $28).
- Anderson Freeze: Anderson Freeze is a disorder-driven spectral freeze. A Disorder control detunes per-band resonant feedback loops until the spectrum localizes in place, high frequencies first, the same mechanism Anderson localization describes in disordered solids. A second Quantum Zeno mode holds the spectrum by re-sampling it at a measurement rate. $20 launch (list $35).
- Geodesic: Geodesic is a relativistic multi-tap delay and freeze where each tap's clock rate is set by Schwarzschild time dilation. Near taps stretch and darken; the field can hold at a horizon, then thaw. $20 launch (list $35).
- Arrhenius: Arrhenius is a multi-band thermal gate governed by reaction kinetics. The Arrhenius rate law gates eight frequency bands stochastically, so one Temperature control sets how often the instrument fires, from a sparse, frozen loop to a dense, boiling one. $25 launch (list $45).
- Anneal: Anneal is a glass-transition synthesizer whose partials carry a thermal history. Melt the material and choose the cooling rate: cool slowly and the spectrum lands in tune as a crystal, quench it and disorder freezes in as glass, at the same knob position. $25 launch (list $45).
- Catalog V1 Bundle: Foxfire, Autocatalysis, and Soliton together. $60 launch (list $110, saves $50).
- Catalog V2 Bundle: Boltzmann, Anderson Freeze, Geodesic, and Arrhenius together. $60 launch (list $143, saves $83).
Platform support

| macOS 11+ | VST3, AU, Standalone | Signed, notarized, stapled by Apple |
| Windows 10+ | VST3 | Unsigned at launch (ZIP, no installer; right-click → Properties → Unblock if Windows quarantines) |
| Apple Silicon and Intel | Native on both | |
| Linux | Not supported | |
| Max for Live (M4L) | Not part of launch catalog |
Roadmap
Catalog V2 is complete. Boltzmann (probabilistic distribution over energy states), Anderson Freeze (Anderson localization as spectral freeze), Geodesic (Schwarzschild time-dilation delay), and Arrhenius (reaction-kinetics density gate) have all shipped, and Anneal (glass-transition synthesizer) follows them as the first instrument of the next wave. Chemotaxis (gradient-driven steering through a chemical field), Osmotic (equilibration across a semipermeable boundary), and Hysteresis (state shaped by input history) follow. No release dates announced for the rest.
Founder
Blake Corman holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee with graduate coursework in physical chemistry at Vanderbilt. Over seven years in product development across skincare (formulation R&D at Unilever) and enterprise software (Meltwater's Media Relations platform). Piano since childhood, electronic music for five years. Chiral is operated independently from Atlanta, Georgia. Full bio.
